Go to the gradebook. Click the heading of the problem type you want to sort. If you see a dash '-' that means a student hasn't attempted that problem type yet. The red box shows the students have did not attempt the problem type. (Figure 1)
The other students have a score. This means these student attempted that problem set. Their progress is reported in a (1-4) score.

What does a low score mean?
If a student has a low score it could mean they are struggling. However, it may also be an indication that the student hasn't put in much effort in attempting the problem set. To view how many problems a student has attempted and get a better understanding of their progress you can use the Student Learning Target Repot.
